Two concerts performed by Adelaide Symphony Orchestra infused with light and inspired by song converge for a stunning weekend at Elder Hall as part of Adelaide Festival. Curated by Cathy Milliken, this kaleidoscopic celebration of music by women composers from Australia and beyond will captivate your imagination. Featuring works by contemporary Australians Liza Lim, Olivia Davies and Elena Kats-Chernin juxtaposed with music by the late, great Finnish co poser Kaija Saariaho. Plus, experience magical orchestral sounds created by the Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina and Ngaanyatjarra composer, Vonda Last.
