Kangaroo Island Marathon Running Festival

Kangaroo Island Marathon Running Festival

Starts: Sunday, 08 September 2024
Ends: Sunday, 08 September 2024
The Kangaroo Island Oats Running Festival was established in 2015 and has welcomed runners representing 23 countries and every state in Australia. In 2021 the event was awarded a bronze medal at the South Australian Tourism Awards. The course route carves its way through the heart of a shutdown Flinders Chase National Park located in the remote south-western corner of the island. Runners will be inspired by post-bushfire regenerating flora and fauna, undulating and deviating roads, an exposed coastal section with clifftop views to the powerful Southern Ocean and a boardwalk leading to the iconic Remarkable Rocks.
