The Julia Creek Turf Club is a small race club situated in the McKinlay Shire, in the remote and rural town of Julia Creek in Far North Western Queensland. With currently 4 race meeting per year, they kick off the year in April with their biggest event, the Artesian Express Race Day which is held in conjunction with the Julia Creek Dirt and Dust Festival. The August Race Meet is one of their smallest, entry is free, 5 races, bar and canteen, courtesy bus and more.
