Jim Barry Wines x Jake Kellie

Starts: Saturday, 25 May 2024
Ends: Saturday, 25 May 2024
The annual Jim Barry Armagh Hut lunch will return to the iconic Armagh vineyard. They’ve once again teamed up with world-renowned chef, Jake Kellie, to provide an exclusive feast to remember. The lunch will be guided by the freshest fare, cooked in Jake's signature style over fire, thoughtfully matched with premium wines and special vintages from our family cellar. Hosted by the Barry Family in their unique Armagh Hut, overlooking the Armagh vine originally planted by Jim Barry in 1964, this feast for the senses is an event not to be missed. Jake is no stranger to the limelight, appearing on Master Chef Australia and racking up many accolades in his career: 2015 Electrolux Appetite for Excellence Australian Young Chef of the Year and Runner ups in 2016 Good Food Guide Young Chef of the Year. Jake is also the recipient of the San Pellegrino World Young Chef of the Year Award for South East Asia, going on to place 2nd in the world in Milan (2018) with his signature Aged Pigeon Dish. Today, he is the co-owner and Head Chef of arkhé (are-kay) in Adelaide, the state’s first open-flame restaurant. This will be a truly memorable occasion, with exceptional food and wine, in an iconic location. With only 20 tickets available, it is encouraged you book early.
