Classical Guitar lovers will have the chance to experience a one night only Wollongong concert by Jesse Flowers. Described as a guitarist of technical brilliance and exquisite control of soft sounds as well as fiery, dramatic playing, Jesse is considered one of the finest guitarists in Europe, captivating audiences at renowned venues such as London’s Wigmore Hall and the Musikverein in Vienna. Born in Sydney, he completed a Bachelor of Music at ANU Canberra before relocating to Germany where he is now based. Jesse teaches and lectures at the Akademie für Tonkunst Darmstadt, as a Professor for Guitar, to undergraduate and graduate students. The concert at Wollongong Conservatorium will be Jesse’s one and only concert in Wollongong for this Australian tour, which is focused on the east coast.
