A fool is born in the sky! He plunges to Earth, and hatches from an Egg! Can he build a tower tall enough to reach the place he came from, or will he be consumed by the shadows that pursue him from below? One thing is certain. You. Will. Laugh. Up Up Up Up Up is a multi-medium, music and mayhem spectacular by Australian actor and clown Jasper (ABC's 'The Doctor Blake Mysteries', 'Pinocchio' w. Regional Arts Victoria). It was conceived in the French countryside, developed in London and the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia, and is ready to hatch in Ballarat this April.  For this performance only, Jasper will be joined by 'Tsinskaro', Melbourne's leading Georgian Polyphonic singing quartet!   Jasper takes the audience on an upward journey, pursued by a shadowy demon, climbing a tower of eggshells towards a familiar place somewhere close to the sky, full of music and light! Jasper creates a space of communion, with the audience encouraged to help sing with him as he ascends. The show touches on themes of balance, control and loss of control, chaos and order, ambition and aspiration, transcendence, failure, and death. But don’t let all that fool you.
