Soundtracked by the very best DJs, artists and live music the country has to offer, the Jamaican Music and Food Festival has become a benchmark for a performance inspired by and straight out of Jamaica. ​This December, like-minded Jamaican music and food fans will come together to experience one glorious summertime day of reggae, dub, rocksteady and dancehall music. The talent-rich line up of live international and local musicians and DJs include First Nations reggae superstar Bart Willoughby, headlining this year’s festival. Iconic, trail-blazing international Jamaican roots reggae and dancehall superstar Turbulence is also on the bill along with Birminghamp England world famous dancehall sensation 1Lawdgad. Rubi Du tops off the list of internationals. This young and talented artist will travel from New Zealand to join the line up. Some other big names to note for this year’s event include Heartical Hi Powa , D.I.Y. HiFi Sound System, Solidarity Sound System and showcases from JMFF friends from Western Australia, Mumma Trees and General Justice. Join in for another magical family-friendly day at Seaworks, Williamstown.
