Join fine artist Lisa Nolan for a beginner workshop on silverpoint. Silverpoint is a traditional type of drawing that was used by masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael during the Renaissance and is still used today. This full-day workshop will focus on beginner drawing techniques using a silver stylus. You will learn to prepare the surface to receive the medium and to measure and mount your drawing. At the end of the day, you will take your work of art home with you. Held at Ballarat's Australian Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades, a world-class facility dedicated to learning and preserving Australia’s rare arts and trades through a series of workshops, masterclasses, events, and residencies.
