Begin your lino printing journey with Astrid Lempriere. In this half day workshop, you will learn the basics of lino printing. You will learn to design your carving, to create different textures, movement and shading with different mark making processes, and practice printing by hand and mechanically using an Enjay press. At the end of the workshop, you will take home your lino block and two prints of your carving on fine Japanese paper. Held at Ballarat's Australian Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades, a world-class facility dedicated to learning and preserving Australia’s rare arts and trades through a series of workshops, masterclasses, events, and residencies.
