International Organist Series - Dong-ill Shin

Dong-ill Shin is a prize-winner in the St Albans and Chartres International Organ Competitions. Following undergraduate studies in Seoul, Shin pursued further studies in France at the Lyon Conservatoire. He then studied under Olivier Latry and Michel Bouvard at the Paris Conservatoire in the prestigious Cycle de Perfectionnement Program. The Pilgrim Uniting Church International Organist Series has for many years brought the world’s best organists to Adelaide. These musicians present recitals on Pilgrim’s acclaimed pipe organ, the largest pipe organ in South Australia. Past visitors have included Simon Preston, John Scott, Shin-Young Lee, Thomas Trotter, and Daniel Roth. Since 2023, the series has been proudly supported by the Stow Music Fund.
