Brightening up Raymond Terrace with a family-friendly event at Riverside Park, King Street, and Hunter Street. Illuminate will bring families, residents and new citizens together, focusing on inclusion, culture, diversity and belonging! With a citizenship ceremony, and lantern-making workshop, followed by a community parade, while fire flames lining the pathway along the iconic river will lead you through an array of attractions such as markets, The Mutual Bank Cultural Zone, live music, roving artists, silent disco within the MarketPlace Toasted Zone, Raymond Terrace Therapy Inclusion Zone, food trucks, public bar and hot chocolate zone with Mortgage Choice free hot chocolate hour at 6:30 for one hour. Make sure you don't miss the spectacular display of fireworks which will take place over the Hunter River later in the evening.
