Canberra's award-winning Handmade Market is a quarterly, curated design market that showcases over 250 Australian designers and producers onsite at Exhibition Park in Canberra. Handmade is a retail supporter of the Australian Made Campaign – this means that when you shop with each small business you are buying Australian made. The market is all indoors, you can meet the maker and find unique and ethically made items, everything from limited edition fashion, handcrafted furniture, original sculpture, ceramics, fine art and prints, textiles, children’s toys and clothing, beautiful jewellery, accessories and the much-loved indoor gourmet food and wine hall. The venue has ample parking, including coach and accessible parking access. There is also public transport to the event. For entry to EPIC from the EPIC and Racecourse Light rail stop on Flemington Road, walk towards Northbourne Avenue and cross with the traffic lights at Gate 2. Entry to the market is free however, please donate to the charity door greeters, GIVIT if you can. All money collected goes to helping those in need in the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding regions.
