The Gundagai Rodeo is a premier event on the national rodeo circuit, being held at the Gundagai Rodeo Grounds. As the final event on the ABCRA calendar, competition is fierce for those last national championship points, and the nation's top cowboys and cowgirls will all be in town as part of their quest for a coveted national title. Spectacular action is guaranteed, from the finals of the blue-ribbon Open Bull Ride under lights in the main arena, down to the aspiring young cowboys in the Poddy Ride. See Australia's best cowgirls 'turn and burn' in the Barrel Race and experience all the thrills and spills of the Rope and Tie and Steer Wrestling finals. Enjoy the live entertainment later in the evening after the events have been completed. A full bar and canteen facilities are available.
