2022 saw the UCI announce the inaugural Trek UCI Gravel World Series - 12 events across four continents. Ultimately, riders qualified for the UCI Gravel World Championships at the end of the season. They are again pleased and excited that GRAVELISTA will be an official qualifying event for the Trek UCI Gravel World Series 2023. Set in the historic town of Beechworth in Victoria's High Country, this event will be a celebration of some of the finest gravel riding in the country, located in an iconic destination. Beechworth is a must-visit spot for cyclists who are searching for adventure on the roads less travelled. Stunning gravel roads meander through thickly forested valleys, tilt skywards over the hills of the High Country and undulate across farmlands and ridge lines. You’ll never be too far from civilisation but you'll feel a million miles away. In addition to superb riding options well-suited to a UCI-level event, the visitor experience and amenities around the ride will ensure a world-class experience for all involved. GRAVELISTA will encompass a weekend of activity and celebration around the racing and riding, with an event village, fine food and drink, local produce and activities for supporters as well as riders.
