Grand Horizons

Starts: Friday, 03 May 2024
Ends: Sunday, 12 May 2024
Maitland Repertory Theatre presents Grand Horizons, Bursting with all the joy and pathos of everyday life, 'Grand Horizons' is theatre at its most enjoyable and familiar. Don’t miss this hilarious and ultimately very moving portrayal of how we all try and sometimes fail, to live our best lives. Nancy, a woman in her seventies, is ready to make a change and divorce her husband Bill. The couple’s adult sons Ben and Brian are shell shocked by their parents’ unexpected announcement and thrust into their own identity crises. As the family grapples with their new reality, each must reckon with their imperfect past and how their collective love for each other might express itself in new and unlikely forms. Grand Horizons contains strong language, mature themes, and theatrical haze.

New to Common Times? Here's our Quick Start Guide to help you.

Common Times acknowledges the traditional owners, first storytellers and custodians of the land we live on. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ongoing connection to land, sea, and community. Their sovereignty was never ceded.
