Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, and Mr Rod Bunten are pleased to welcome members of the public to explore Government House and its grounds at a special Open Day, this Mother's Day. Held in conjunction with South Australia’s History Festival, Government House Adelaide will be open for people to view the public rooms of the oldest continuously occupied Government House in the country. Members of the public can learn about the architectural features, historical artefacts, and daily operations of Government House, as well as explore a range of exhibits. There will be a range of activities, including garden tours, live music, children’s quizzes, SAPOL Police Grey display and interaction, and food and drink vendors.
