Future Feast at Mona (Beaker Street Festival)

Future Feast at Mona (Beaker Street Festival)

Starts: Sunday, 11 August 2024
Ends: Sunday, 11 August 2024
The year is 2050, and climate change has wreaked havoc on our planet, translating to a complete disruption in food production and supply. Or has it? Join us for a fantastical feast, prepared by Mona head chef Vince Trim, as we imagine how a range of possible futures might taste. We’ll hear from one scientist working in the trenches, and another steeped in possible solutions, to serve up two very different potential outcomes based on our current actions. Enjoy a deliciously imaginative meal with matched Moorilla wines, and take part in what’s sure to be a fascinating conversation with scientists and other guests, facilitated by event MC Rhys Muldoon.

COMMON TIMES

New to Common Times? Here's our Quick Start Guide to help you.

Common Times acknowledges the traditional owners, first storytellers and custodians of the land we live on. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ongoing connection to land, sea, and community. Their sovereignty was never ceded.
