Ends: Sunday, 29 September 2024
Sinclair’s Gully, South Australia’s leading sustainable ecotourism venue together with Courtney Robb and Snooks La Vie, accomplished musicians and performers, are delighted to present this immersive outdoor musical experience in a pristine forest wilderness. Surrounded by nature in this magnificent forest, Courtney and Snooks will transport you to another place and time as the music drifts through the majestic candle bark gums. Moving between lines of country, folk and blues, Robb’s charged vocal delivery demands something of her listener as the imperfections and fragility of her stories reveal themselves. Together with La Vie's soaring harmonica and captivating vocals, they create a unique and compelling sound, encompassing a soulful pop sensibility that has seen the duo attract the attention of local and interstate music festivals and music lovers alike. During the afternoon, Sean will share with you the importance of protecting Australia’s fragile ecosystem and how to protect and conserve the critically endangered candlebark forest. Just 15 minutes from Magill, in the Adelaide foothills. This is an outdoor open-air outdoor performance, the show will go ahead rain or shine. A marquee will be provided if it looks like rain. No refunds.
