Experience the Magic of FESTURI: Moffat Beach Unveils Its Multicultural Extravaganza Brace yourselves for an explosion of culture, colour, and community spirit as FESTURI, the Sunshine Coast's premier multicultural celebration, announces the rescheduled FESTURI Moffat Beach Festival. Originally slated to be during Easter, this eagerly awaited event promises an unforgettable fusion of world music, dance, art, and cuisine, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Moffat Beach. From the rhythmic beats of traditional drummers to the tantalizing aromas wafting from international food stalls, every moment at FESTURI is a sensory delight. Incorporating the energy and enthusiasm of the surf competition, the festival promises an eclectic blend of music, dance, arts, crafts, and culinary delights. Terry Landsberg, President of WindanSea Boardriders emphasises the synergy between both groups: "We have many multicultural surfers in our organisation. We think having FESTURI on board is a great fit for our surfing community." "We want to ensure that the energy of the surfers is still within the festival as much as possible," shares Toria Mason, President of FESTURI, highlighting the collaborative spirit driving the event. With performances by local and regional multicultural artists, international food stalls, surf stalls, and a bustling FESTURI Kids festival featuring immersive workshops, face painting, animal petting, and kids activities, the festival invites attendees to embark on a journey of cultural discovery and celebration.
