FESTURI festivals celebrates multiculturalism by promoting the talents and cultural customs of people from cultural and linguistically diverse (CALD) origins in a non-threatening way. They aim to provide an opportunity for the diverse multicultural community to share their talents, skills and culture with the local and broader community. FESTURI Cotton Tree festival, is a free family-friendly & multicultural community festival, that enables all Sunshine Coast residents and visitors, the opportunity to engage with celebrating cultural diversity. It is an annual event that is held in the Sunshine Coast, operating since 1999. The festival offers an array of multicultural dancers, musicians and performers on and off stage: roving performers, weaving, martial arts and other workshops, and many children's activities. The festival showcases international food stalls, community and government stalls and merchandise stalls.
