Join Festival Of Turtles - The Arts Centre Cootamundra Open Day. Guests can watch skilled artists perform their crafts, including eco-paper dyeing, viking knit, and etching press. Aunty Sharron will also perform live, leading a fun-filled, interactive song and dance presentation. Visitors can join in on a musical gudyiwagagirra-song and dance journey, acknowledging the Sovereign Custodians, Elders, and Country before beginning the concert for all ages. Native animal toy friends and cheeky puppet Dinawan-Emu will also make appearances, connecting visitors to our past, present, and future. Explore the open potters' shed to watch the potters at work and browse a market stall for unique gifts. Enjoy the sparkle and glamour of the Coota Bollywood Costume Exhibition, where they can experience the delights of the custom designs by Fiona Braybrooks and Debbie Rose. Lastly, visitors can explore the staging in the Tin Shed Theatre where the community production of "Snugglepot and Cuddlepie: The Musical in Concert" will take place. The production is based on the book "The Complete Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie" by May Gibbs and features words and music by Peter Combe.
