It has long been known that the Strathbogie Ranges is an ideal location to hop on your bike and take in what can best be described as some of the most breathtaking views in north-east Victoria. While the annual Ride the Ranges event will continue to showcase this beautiful part of the world, organisers, the Rotary Club of Euroa, are introducing another element to what is set to be an action-packed weekend in Euroa. The Criterium event is returning to Euroa’s central business district. Aimed at the more professional cyclists, the peloton (the main group of riders) will begin their race on Kirkland Avenue West, heading north, turning left into Railway Street and then left into Binney Street. The peloton continues down Binney Street before turning left into Bury Street and finally left, back into Kirkland Avenue West to complete the lap. With these roads closed from noon til 5pm. Come and see all the action, then join in the Ride the Ranges Euroa event on Sunday.
