An exhibition by a group of Forbes Artists who share the desire to visually express all aspects of their environment. The exhibition will consist of portrayals of landscapes, flora, fauna, still life and creative explorations into fantasy landscape. The group come together each week to communicate and share their skills in all areas of art. The other important aspect of the group is the help and support for each other through the hardships of their daily lives. The group have a diverse interest in, and approach to use a range of medium. Shared skills enable each other to advance their ability in the use of acrylics, oils, pastel watercolour and mixed media. Subject matter is inspired by the individual exploration of the environment. The Forbes environs of waterways, flora and fauna are a valuable source of inspiration for these artists. Other artists in the group choose to depict scenes of their travels around Australia.
