Dumplings and Daiquiris with DJ Ruby Chew

Dumplings and Daiquiris with DJ Ruby Chew

Starts: Saturday, 18 May 2024
Ends: Saturday, 18 May 2024
Join Greg Cooley Wines as they celebrate 40 years of Gourmet Weekend - a Ruby anniversary with Adelaide DJ Ruby Chew. Wielding a huge catalogue of sounds, her M.O. combines the classic tunes we all love mixed with soon-to-be new favourites. Grab a Daiquiri, your free serve of Dumplings, and put on your dancing shoes. This will be a night of retro music with a packin’ array of tantalising tunes. From funk, rock ‘n roll, blues and disco, to house, new wave, 90’s and naughties, Ruby's got it and she's not afraid to use it. Ruby is well known on the Adelaide music scene regularly spinning at The Gallery, Rhino Room and My Lover Cindi to name a few. She began her DJ career at one of Adelaide’s most infamous dive bars, Supermild, and has been spinnin’ for over 15 years. She’s played at festivals, bars and clubs including Adelaide Fashion Festival, Oz Asia Festival, Tasting Australia, Santos Tour Down Under, Cellar Door Fest, Adelaide Festival, Fringe Festival, Day Dance Festival, The Exeter, Rhino Room & My Lover Cindi to name a few. Please note this is not a seated event and tickets are essential. Ms Viet Kitchen will also have a range of other delicious Asian-inspired dishes available for purchase and will have wines, beers, Gin, Espresso Martinis, Daiquiris, RTD's and more.
