What we will do
The second part of the documentary film THE PHENOMENON BRUNO GROENING sheds light on counterforces, resistance and obstacles, that blocked Groening's path. Additionally, it presents the continual, unbelievable healings that occurred as well as Groening's efforts to enable his work to proceed in an orderly, unobstructed way.
Groening becomes a phenomenon in the 1950s
Hardly anyone causes a bigger excitement than Bruno Groening. Thousands of people visited him in various German cities. More and more reports occur about new healings attributed to him. Press, radio and film continuously report in a sensational style. To some detractors, Groening's work appears to conflict with the Non-Medical Practitioners Act. He was taken to court in 1952. Although he was acquitted, he was not allowed to continue his healing activities. He then founded the Groening Association so he could continue to speak to people as a lecturer, in an orderly, verifiable fashion. Communities were founded in many places, where he held lectures on a small scale. Even though reports about healings continued, the medical profession remained skeptical towards the "Groening phenomenon".
