Antiques valuation day where you can bring your antiques to be valued by licensed antique valuers. The day will also feature guided tours of the garden at Devon Park homestead which is a heritage listed building. The interior of the homestead will not be open to the public however, owner Susie Clarke will give an overview speech about the property during the opening ceremony at 11am. There will be a history display, demonstrations featuring a sock knitting machine, kids colouring activities, raffle, food and drinks stall, so there will be plenty to see as well as watch the valuers speaking about each item to be valued. We also anticipate having some antique items for sale on some of the valuers’ work-stations. A sausage sizzle style barbeque will be available during the lunch period. This event will bring many visitors to Dunkeld.
