The Dartmoor Show is a family-friendly event held on the first Saturday of December each year. The Dartmoor show is a traditional show featuring an indoor pavilion, trade exhibits, horses on show, and poultry section. There are lots of horses on the show with competitions for; ridden horses, led horses, novelty section, horse jumping, harness, breed section and non-showy horses. In the indoor section, there are prizes in; Roses, cut flowers, natives, pot plants, arrangements, school children, vegetables, photography and there is a child's pet parade.
