Damien Pledger Exhibition

Damien Pledger Exhibition

Starts: Tuesday, 04 February 2025
Ends: Friday, 28 February 2025
Damien Pledger invites you into his worldview of structured mayhem that celebrates joy, elevates the mundane, and offers an incisively humorous social satire. Influenced by Vermeer and Pollock, Damien's art provides perspectives of chaos. Themes of social interaction, the effects of language, and the absurdity of religious dogma. Recent heavy acrylic works are often painted on vast canvases in the backyard with a roaring fire and a party atmosphere. "The only place I have been free is art.........Out there is everything else. Over years of study and practice I invented rules......I'm now destroying those rules and becoming more intuitive and free." - Damien Pledger
