Dalby’s DeLIGHTful Country Festival is held in the fourth week of August biennially. It is Dalby’s signature event. The festival will include a Friday night event to be announced. The Saturday festival begins with the Welcome Flag Parade focusing on the diversity of the community leading into the Citizenship Ceremony. The point of difference at this festival is the unique Lantern Parade held at night where hundreds are featured. People can taste amazing cultural food, browse the range of market stalls, get involved in the Colour Frenzy Fun- Run or join roving entertainers trying out your skills. There’s an amazing children’s area. Multicultural entertainment will include the colourful Multicultural Dance Competition as well a range of cultural performers. Come and meet our Celebrity Chef and get involved in our hilarious cooking competition. The Family Fun Show-off, Cook-off was such a hit last year! Come Early and Stay Longer.
