The COscars is an outdoor youth film festival featuring a short film competition that aims to showcase the talents of young people aged 8 to 25 years.


Winning films will be announced and presented to the public at the COscars Youth Film Festival on Friday 22 October 2021 at the Village Square, Castlemaine (corner of Frederick Street and Lyttleton Street).

This free family friendly event will also include:

The feature film Zootopia

Ice-cream social van

Popcorn stall

Coffee and hot drinks
or BYO picnic!

To help us keep numbers at a COVID-safe level, please register your attendancehere


Alcohol, drug and smoke free, fully supervised event, no pass outs for under 18s.
