Clay 101 Ceramics Workshop

Starts: Saturday, 17 August 2024
Ends: Saturday, 17 August 2024
Learn to build ceramic objects using your hands and just a few simple tools! Workshop is perfect for the beginner and beyond. Join local ceramist Jane Orme as you learn the basics of working with clay through making a slab dish, a pinched vessel (eg. mug, vase, bowl) and a small sculptural item. All pieces will be glazed fired and returned to the studio for at a later date to be collected. The cost of the class includes materials and kiln firings for small practice works and one final artwork. Please wear clothes that can get a little messy. All tools are supplied.
