Calm is an exhibition of paintings by the esteemed Tasmanian artist David Lake. David Lake is a resident of Longford, an historic town 22km south of Launceston. Most of the paintings are subjects from within the immediate Longford locality, 12 small works being familiar sights. Larger paintings, though still mostly 'Longfordian', extend slightly further afield , the Highlands, Relbia, Western Junction, Mt Poland - all very Northern Tasmanian. All typical of Lake's style. All paintings are available to purchase. Exhibition dates July 27 - August 18 2024. Monday - Friday 11am - 6pm, Closed Tuesdays, Saturdays 1pm - 5pm, Sundays 10am - 4pm.
