Bulla Midhong - Album Launch and Concert

Bulla Midhong - Album Launch and Concert

Starts: Friday, 28 June 2024
Ends: Friday, 28 June 2024
Bulla Midhong, meaning one and two is three, is an album launch and concert of songs and stories created with local young people, artists and cultural mentors. This special event follows the success of the Bulla Midhong on-country events held in 2023, where we sat at feet of three mountains, sharing three stories, connecting three communities - Eden, Wallaga Lake, and Nowra. Bulla Midhong celebrates deep connection to place and continues a lineage of story-sharing across Yuin country, interweaving whale stories from Eden, stories of Gulaga (mother mountain) from Wallaga Lake, and of the black cockatoo story from Nowra. With live performances by contributors from each community, accompanied by immersive audio-visual storytelling, this is a powerful offering for the country at large about the cultural strength of the unceded Yuin nation. It promises to be an experience that will move hearts and minds.
