The Annual Bowra Book Fair is held in the Summer holidays and is a two-day book lovers extravaganza, for locals and visitors. All books are donated by the community. All categories of books, both fiction and non-fiction. A great fundraiser for the Community Centre. A great opportunity for locals to share their surplus books, and to gain "new" books for their reading and learning pleasure. They also have games, puzzles, CDs and DVDs. The cafe operates too, providing homemade goodies, barista coffee and a lovely airy verandah to sit and relax, and enjoy a view to the mountains.
