Booligal Sheep Races

Booligal Sheep Races

Starts: Saturday, 05 October 2024
Ends: Saturday, 05 October 2024
Enjoy a great fun family day out at the annual Booligal Sheep Races. Relax on the green lawn of the Booligal Cricket Ground, enjoy the barbecue and the thrill of racing your sheep. There are great prizes throughout the day. The day kicks off with the Best Decorated Sheep Judging and then the races begin. Don't worry if your sheep is not a finalist as there is a chance to buy a sheep in a heat in the sheep auction in the middle of the day. Get a syndicate together and your sheep could be the winner of the Booligal Cup! It's a great event to get involved in as all proceeds go to local charities. Come along and see how the locals have fun in the outback. Camping spots available. Entertainment also at Booligal Hotel.
