Come see the oldest operating Fire Station in the Southern Hemisphere and an important part of the history of Ballarat during the Brigade's Open Days held during the Ballarat Heritage Festival. Visit the station to see current and historical firefighting equipment, vehicles, uniforms and the vast collection of historical items collected by the brigade since it was founded in 1856. Speak with current volunteer firefighters to learn what it is like being a volunteer and being part of one of Victoria's largest and most respected volunteer organisations, the Country Fire Authority. Free Entry with donations being accepted.
