Over the June long weekend, the Australian Road Transport Heritage Centre will host its annual dinner and road run at Gundagai Show Grounds. The fundraising dinner event is held on Saturday night. It includes a three-course meal, a small auction, and more. Bookings and payments for the dinner are required. Sunday is the morning wake-up breakfast followed by the road run over the infamous Sylvia's Gap (part of the Old Hume Highway) with the return via Tumut to the Gundagai Showgrounds for lunch.
