Welcome to the third Australian Pole Sports Championships, taking place at the Cairns Basketball Early Settler Stadium. Pole is one of the fastest-growing sports on the planet. This competition will be open to all Australian pole sports athletes. This year, the Championships also include Hoop. Includes male and female categories from ages six to masters 50 years and above, with a para-pole sports division for people with disabilities. It is the only avenue for Australian pole athletes to win the opportunity to represent their country. This event showcases this exciting and unique sport to the community for free. The Australian Pole Sports Federation is a not-for-profit sporting organisation, founded by a passionate group of elite Cairns pole sports athletes in 2017. Together with the International Pole Sports Federation, they are pushing towards their end goal: Olympic inclusion; they are halfway there.
