Since 1992, crowds have descended on Glen Innes in New England High Country during the Autumn to attend the Australian Celtic Festival. This celebration of Ireland and Isle of Man is a unique Celtic experience, with the opportunity to meet with friends and to enjoy famous country hospitality. It has an action-packed program at the Australian Standing Stones and various venues around Glen Innes with massed bands, busking competitions, and street parades. The event features an opening and dawn ceremony, Celtic music and dance, Celtic traders, highland games, jousting, and a Celtic animal display.
