Join the Bourke Shire Council, the Rotary of Bourke and the Bourke community to help reflect, respect and celebrate during the breakfast and awards ceremony. The 2025 Australia Day official ceremony and ambassadors' address starts at 9 am in Darling Park Bourke – corner of Sturt and Mitchell Street. All community members and visitors to the town are invited to attend and help celebrate the morning. Don’t forget about the giant Lamington Tower cake after the ceremony. Following the breakfast celebrations, you are invited to head to the Bourke Pool Complex for free entry and slushies to help shake the summer heat. The entire family can participate in pool activities and games in the afternoon.
