As We Speak

Starts: Friday, 17 January 2025
Ends: Friday, 17 January 2025
An evening of musical brilliance which unites Indian and Western Classical music with Bluegrass music by four superb musicians who will perform their 2023 album As We Speak, which won two Grammy awards in 2024. Banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck, tabla legend Zakir Hussai, bansuri flute master Rakesh Chaurasia and bassist icon Edgar Meyer will showcase their remarkable instrumental skills and diverse musical influences, gliding easily between the cerebral complexity of Indian rhythm with the groove of a funky bass line and the rigors of raga. Each musician shares a mutual gift for improvisation and an ability to span musical genres.
