arkhé & friends: Rosheen Kaul

Starts: Thursday, 15 August 2024
Ends: Thursday, 15 August 2024
arkhé & friends is a year-long series of world-class chef collaborations taking place at Jake Kellie's arkhé in Adelaide. The fourth event set to take place as part of the series will be Rosheen Kaul's takeover. Rosheen Kaul is a chef, cookbook author, recipe columnist and until recently was the head chef at award-winning Brunswick East restaurant, Etta. Born in Singapore and raised in Melbourne’s inner south-east, Rosheen says her cultural identity never made sense to her, until she ‘put it on a plate’. The chef’s Kashmiri, Peranakan Chinese, and Filipino heritage coupled with her Australian upbringing have culminated in her culturally diverse approach to cooking. Rosheen’s arkhé & friends event will be a fiery feast full of the unexpected from one of the most talked-about young chefs in Australia and will be one of the first opportunities to see what the celebrated chef’s post-Etta work will look like. Includes a Laphroaig cocktail on arrival, a five-course menu with paired wines and a Laphroaig tasting flight.
