Arapiles Cycling Event - The A.C.E. Ride

Starts: Saturday, 05 October 2024
Ends: Saturday, 05 October 2024
The A.C.E. Ride is an opportunity for cycling enthusiasts of all abilities to experience the big sky and stunning Wimmera views; with Mt Arapiles rising from the surrounding flat country not unlike Uluru in Central Australia. Cycling in the Spring, you will experience the flowering canola crops, the growing wheat and barley. The routes are designed to avoid the major highways and avoid too much travel on major roads. Check out lentil crops with the occasional paddock of sheep or cattle grazing nearby. The ride also passes several historic buildings and the Natimuk Lake. Three Routes are offered this year, all starting and finishing in Natimuk. One hundred kilometres, 75 Kilometres, 50 Kilometres and 20 Kilometres using the Big Sky Bike Trail. This event is supporting the work of the Wimmera Against Cancer in Kids. WACK supports families with children going through Cancer treatment.
