ANU Flute Day is back by popular demand! ANU Flute Day has become a key annual gathering of the Canberra flute community, bringing together ANU School of Music and many of Canberra’s leading flute teachers. The day is directed by Dr Sally Walker (Senior Lecturer in Classical Performance [Woodwind] - Australian National University) and will feature esteemed Canberra flautists and teachers: Jennifer Brian , Issie Brown, Emma Claire, Joel Dreezer, The Emerald Ruby (Jennifer Hankin), Beth Hwang, Cicilia Kemezys, Sally Melhuish, Kate Murphy and Mark Xiao. For a first time, there will be trade tables with new flutes and piccolos from Flutes & Flutists and Flute Tree-The Woodwind Group at the event. This event is suitable for beginners to professionals, and adult amateurs are encouraged. Register now to avoid disappointment! Places are limited, and registrations close COB Thursday 1 August.
