Starts: Wednesday, 10 July 2024
Ends: Wednesday, 10 July 2024
In this workshop, children aged 8-12 will explore the world of art by creating contemporary animal portraits inspired by old master paintings. Through hands-on activities participants learn to appreciate the artistry of old master paintings while gaining hands-on experience in gesture drawing and painting techniques to create their own contemporary animal portraits, fostering creativity, observation skills, and artistic expression. Through exploration and experimentation, they develop a deeper understanding of art history, composition, and the role of animals in visual storytelling. Proudly supported by NSW Government and Cleverpatch
