Ends: Sunday, 06 October 2024
Fremantle will host the 41st AFL Masters National Carnival - the first time the region has hosted the National Carnival. The Local Fremantle Organising Committee have put together a tremendous calendar of off-field events for participants during the week including a high tea, the annual Golf Classic, day trips around the region, the prestigious Hall of Fame event and a fun-filled event on "Super Tuesday" for "kids" of all ages and sizes. The AFL Masters National Carnival starts with opening Meet and Greet events for each participating State and Territory on AFL Grand Final Day and concludes with a Gala Night at Optus Stadium where Carnival winners and All-Australians are feted. Matches throughout the week are being played at various grounds surrounding Fremantle including Fremantle Oval, East Fremantle Oval, Fremantle Park, Tom Perrot Reserve and Gilbert Fraser Reserve.
