Start the day with a guided tour of the various garden spaces - Ornamental, formal rose and kitchen gardens, orchards, parkland, pool house and historic outbuildings. Delve into the seasonal changes and challenges of gardening under the guidance of a passionate green thumb. Get your hands dirty with practical activities such as planting, pruning, propagating and hedging, whilst getting tips from Kate on how to be an efficient, effective and well-planned gardener. You will be given exclusive access to the pool house kitchen where you'll learn how to make sensational scones, and the gardener's cottage will educate and inspire you to apply your new-found knowledge to your garden at home. Catering will be provided by the local Country Women's Association.
