2025 Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show
Starts:
Saturday, 28 June 2025
Ends:
Sunday, 29 June 2025
The iconic Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show began in 1928 and proudly celebrates its 95th Show in 2025!
From it's early days as a Flower and Fete Show, it's blossomed into a two day event showcasing equestrian, pavilion arts and crafts, poultry, woodchop, farrier demonstrations, and livestock judging, junior rural ambassador and showgirl competitions, working dogs in action, live bands, heritage displays, showbags and rides for the thrill seekers.
This is followed by an exciting night program which includes annual regulars like the Horse vs Bike race, and the Young Farmers Challenge, a national competition where teams of four race to complete fun tasks like harvesting potatoes out of barrels, or lassoing pretend chickens into pens. We close the night with live music and the oohs and ahs of the crowd as the night sky is lit up with fireworks.
They have successfully preserved our country show roots by offering a unique insight into Australia's agricultural history with heritage displays of farming equipment, and traditional arts and crafts such as knitting and quilting, even delicious home made jams and chutneys. Just like Nan used to make.
