Talking Fire is a community initiative designed to create different kinds of community conversations about fire in our landscape. The idea of landscape-scale approaches to fire management – across tenures and caring for people and the environment – is reflected in the Newstead Community Plan.
Talking Fire, an initiative of the Muckleford Forest Friends Group, a network of people who live in and near the Muckleford Forest and Maldon Historic Reserve in the Central Victorian Goldfields, is part of Newstead 2021 Inc.
