Working Bee 28 Nov 2021

Starts: Sunday, 28 November 2021, 9:30 am
Ends: Sunday, 28 November 2021, 12:30 pm

Hello Landcarers,

Thanks to the weed warriors and planters on 14 November - it was a bit wet, but we got some things done. The weed war continues with a special call-out to brush-cutters .....

Working bee at Colles Rd - 9.30 am, Sunday 28 Nov

WHERE -It will be at the 'Colles Rd' stretch of Forest Creek, Sunday 28 Nov, starting at 9.30am. To get there, park near the corner of Farran St and Colles Rd - we will work downstream from there.

WHAT TO BRING -There may be snakes so be sure to bring gloves and wear good footwear. Also bring your own tools (although we will have a few as well).Brush-cutting people - bring your brush-cutters. We won't be able to cut the whole area, so will cut around plants so that they are not overwhelmed.Bring your own cup, drinking water, gloves, etc. Hopefully we will have some of Matthew's scones and coffee.

TAKING CARE -As per usual practice -don't come if you have any COVID symptoms, obey social distancing, advise us by email if you are coming.

Year-end lunch and working bee - 12 December

Looking ahead, we will have our usual year-end lunch on Sunday 12 Dec, preceded by a working bee behind Best Motors. More details will follow.

Regards,

Castlemaine Landcare Group committee
